Coppertops
The next type of building I want you to see is the apartment buildings from late 1800s and early 1900s. The apartment buildings generally have shops on the lower level, and then levels of apartments on top.
I like the little boxy houses. Thanks to the significant levels of insulation and (at least) double glazing, they're comfortable and quiet little delightful boxes. One day I will build a Swedish box here in Australia (with a few modifications to make it work with Australia's climate).

I find the copper roofs and spires really charming.
These are all from the port-towns of Oskarshamn and Karlshamn on the east coast of Sweden.

As a bonus, a hairdresser's building, and two train stations. One from Ulricehamn and one from Oskarshamn. I particularly enjoy the font of "Frisör":

This train station was completed around 1906, and operated for about 80 years as a train station. These days it's a bus station. Noteworthy spires.

Krösatågen stopped going here some time in the 2010s. Understated spire.
