New-old Camera Day
A little while ago dear friend Mandi came around with a bag of camera gear. Remotes, lenses, cameras and camera bodies, flash bulbs, a video camera. All manner of things photo and video.
In amongst it all was a Canon EOS 5 body. This was particularly exciting since I already have a bunch of compatible higher-end lenses. I've never used a modern digital camera before. Automagic loading. Motor winding. Autofocus. Aperture-priority metering. Mindblowing.
I loaded a film into it the other day and closed the back. It whirred. It was, as best I could tell, ready to go on our first adventure.
Below are some of the shots from the first roll. I love it.
