Ramshackle House in Monteith
I was driving back from a swim in the Murray River somewhere between Jervois and Murray Bridge when I spotted this house. I was on the Princes Highway, so I blasted right past it. After some umm-ing and aah-ing I found a spot to do a U-turn, and came back for a second bite at it.
The house is in desperate need of some TLC. But I don't imagine anyone wants to live in mostly the middle of nowhere between two towns on the highway that circles the coast of this island nation.
I wonder what life would have been like here, back in the day.
There will be two posts about this house. One now in colour, and one on film when I get around to developing that roll. And assuming the camera works - I had it apart recently to fix a jamming problem, that turned out to be a double-whammy. The link to that blog post is on the other side of the photos.

Thanks for reading. And read more about the OM-1 repair here.
