Snow Day

But snow fell. A lot of it. For a whole day. Some say 25 centimetres. Some say half a metre. I think it was somewhere in between.

Snow Day
The beacon in Råå

It doesn't snow in southern Sweden any more. Or so I've been told. More than once. This, combined with a distrust of weather bureaus (probably stemming from Australia's Bureau of Meteorology recent inability to predict the weather), meant that I didn't really get my hopes up about seeing snow on my recent trip to Sweden. Even with SMHI (🇸🇪) and DMI (🇩🇰) suggesting that some might fall.

Here is a selection of snowy photos from the trip.

More snowy posts will come.
